Well, what would Grandma Gatewood have to say about 2020 so far?!?
As you probably guessed, the Center will be closed this week.
We've all been getting enough messages from the media, so you don't need any more instructions about - you know, washing body parts or any of that.
In fact, here's an idea - Want to talk about something not-apocalypse-related for awhile?
Here's my thought: we could hold a virtual meeting, using some (free) online meeting tools. I can set up a "meeting room" for us, if we want to log in online around 2 pm on Friday. (I have a "Zoom" account already for work.)
I would email everyone a link and you just click on that link to "join" the meeting
Then we just sit and talk.
You dont need an account to join a meeting, but you do need to download the small (free) "client" program.

What do you think?
Pros: We can all sip our adult beverage of choice, as no one has to drive home
Cons: Pam will not be baking for us, so we will have to rummage through the cupboards for our own goodies.
I was really looking forward to eating some trail mix... and hearing what everyone else thought about Grandma Gatewood.
Maybe we can still do this!

If we have enough interest, I will generate a free link, and we can "assemble" for a discussion about hiking, independence and whatever else we dream up this time...
