Greetings, First Friday Book Club members:
More adventure awaits!
Our next meeting is Friday, August 7 at 2pm --
and Calie has arranged for us to use the temporary Senior Recreation Center office space at the McKinney National airport!
We'll be able to use this space every month until the new Center is ready next year.
(We still have to wear masks and follow social distancing, of course.)
But we'll have a bit of a place of our own - at least through the rest of 2020.
The address for our new space is: McKinney National Airport 1476 Industrial Blvd. McKinney, TX 75069 How to get there? There is a Senior Recreation sign on Industrial Blvd. leading towards the airport with arrows pointing in the direction to go. It is important to stay in the far right lane all the way to the airport. Once at the airport, go to the larger white building on the right. The middle door is marked Senior Recreation and leads to our space. Our reading for August is Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake by Anna Quindlen.The alternate title is The Library Book by Susan Orlean.
