☃️ Happy Winter Solstice, y'all! ❄️

Hey, there, First Friday Book Club members!

In case you ever have that discussion where someone says, "But why do you need more books?!?": Why you should surround yourself with more books than you’ll ever have time to read: http://tinyurl.com/y8r3k9dh

BookBrowse is giving two weeks of free access to their "Best of the Year" list: https://www.bookbrowse.com/mag/detail/index.cfm/latest/1 We have one of their selections ("Educated") in our schedule,so we are off to a good start in 2019. (I'll capture this list to use during next years selection process.)

And remember that the Winter Solstice is the point when the days begin to grow longer.

December 21 is often called "the first day of winter", but in reality, the sun begins to make a return today, and the days will grow longer now.

This is cheering for those of us who do not relish the cold and gray of December!

See you in 2019! Tami
